In May of 1857, 37 members of Little River Baptist Church branched out and organized Three Forks Baptist Church. The charter members were made up of both black and white members. A frame building was built in 1859. it was used until a new church was built across the road in 1896. The current site was established in 1946. An educational wing and baptistry were added in 1959. Many different building projects have taken place, over 25 lead pastors, and 12 associate pastors have served, but the vision of Three Forks Baptist Church remains the same: to serve the surrounding community and deliver the Gospel of Jesus Christ to lost people of all backgrounds.
